Little Sydney
We were introduced to Keith Loutit's videographic project called 'Little Sydney'. These are created from thousands of photo stills taken with the 'tilt shift' technique. Time-lapse is then incorporated to finish the effect. This miniature world of Sydney is truly amazing.

Bide your time and be Sassy
Diecast accompanied good friend Filip Odzak to Sass & Bide's Fashion Week party. All the guests were awesomely funny and Filip definitely pulled no punches with his questions. Most of the more explicit responses have been edited, nonetheless this is not a PG rated clip.....................................................

Ultimate Mashup
J Brand shows off its inner anglophile by collaborating with super Brit Hussein Chalayan on a denim capsule collection. This collection displays a hint of avant-garde and maintains the cerebral qualities of Chalayan. The collection consists of three styles, 'The Beau', 'The Legging' (above) and 'The Circuit'. We predict 'The Legging' will be an instant favourite when and if it arrives on our shores. Chalayan has this to say about the collaboration:"Translating my designs within a denim context has offered me the opportunity to continue the exploration of a longstanding brand aesthetic". Wear with caution.

The Pirelli Aussies 2010
The Pirelli Calendar has become an annual publication that belies its origin in 1964 as merely a trade calendar published by the Pirelli company's UK subsidiary. The calendar is famous for its limited availability because it is not sold and is only given as a corporate gift to a restricted number of important Pirelli customers and celebrity VIPs. The Pirelli Calendar is perhaps the world's only prestigious and exclusive "girly" calendar, featuring pictures generally considered glamour photography including artistic nudes.

If you had missed Art & Copy during the 2009 Sydney Film Festival, do make it a point to catch it during its general release.

Uniform Project Collaboration
Diecast Agency was invited to Gorman's studio in Paddington yesterday and we were well impressed with their design philosophy and environmental awareness. Gorman has kindly provided us with various organic pieces for the Uniform Project which Shay is styling for. No sneak peak yet but there will be images to follow when our concept is finalised.
Gorman has also loaned us a pig made from leather off-cuts. He is precious to them so the Uniform Project will have to return him when he's done with his modelling gig in New York. Lucky pig.
Pig has a name, Patch. And very soon, Patch will be accumulating frequent flyer points as he journeys to the Big Apple. Who said pigs can't fly...
