Statement bikinis will rule summer. From Agua de Coco (left) to our own Kini Bikini (bottom), beach couture is serious business.
Some among us cannot help but think that these exuberant swimwear pieces are also a
concerted call to arms against our current state of austerity - a credit to the designers involved. ....................................................................................................................................We We stumbled on some pieces that have taken on a playful hint of fetish. L.A. L.A.
Erstwhile traveller Vanessa in LA. Definitely not out of her depth discussing film with Michael Bay. Thank god this is Michael Bay post Transformers, mediocre movies have a way of cutting people back down to size.

Lubanci, our little find from sun kissed Queensland. Plenty of drama going on with this collection by Jess Chatterton. While edgy with a whiff of deconstruction, what we enjoy most are the cuts that afford us cool glimpses of skin. Queensland says hello to spring, we say OK!

Shay in the woods
Exclusive sneak peek of Shay Alexander's designs. We like the 'Tom Selleck' too.
A splash of street style
Diecast Agency enjoys a day out in the sun at Bondi Icebergs. We were treated to a great display of skill and courage (and Mother Nature) at the Red Bull Street Style Finals.
Sydney's floating street style event is probably world's first.
Urban guerillas start young. Check out fashion forward jeans.
Schubert In Da House at Studio Neon
As promised, here is Ralph's virtuoso performance of Schubert at Studio Neon.

Studio Neon
Studio Neon is one of Diecast Agency's favourite spaces in Sydney. We describe it as original industrial whimsy meets high caloric comfort station. We suspect also that the tinge of delightful macabre may be inspired by the Peter Greenaway film, "The Cook, the Thief, his Wife, and her Lover" (below).

Have Pink, Will Travel...
The Milanese House of Aristolasia leads the way again with the highly sought after patterned and varnished sleek briefcase. We found travelling between Paris and Berlin an interesting exercise in inducing luggage envy.
Another find is our very own home grown Pretty In Pink's Formosa Vanity Case. Staying quintessentially Australian, Jessica McKenzie's pieces are equally sleek yet visually energetic.

Sunnies & Schubert
Morning after the night before at magnificent Studio Neon in Waterloo, Sydney. Shay Alexander and Diecast Agency presents Ralph Anderl of ic! berlin with new pair of Shay Alexander Shoes as well as Kraftwerk's brilliant Trans Europa Express album. Ralph's obviously pulled up very well after treating us to a virtuoso performance of Franz Schubert's classics and discussing footwear under the stars on Saturday night. Watch for video coming soon.

Frame it up
"the invention of the bicycle was the most significant event in the history of evolution - people finally had a serious choice about whether to marry their cousins or to pedal off to the next village in search of more attractive pickings." -Steve Jones, The Language of the Genes
Diecast Agency is your vehicle for richer pickings.

Yarn Bombing the Emerald City, Knitta, Please!
Martin Place Sydney, home to the Reserve Bank and a new signpost cosy.
Colour matching Opera House's architecture to staff clothing.
The real Bondi Rescue. Guerilla knitting takes to the surf.
Warming Bondi Icebergs in July. Tribute to "Raja" Harold Miller.
Diecast Agency is proud to be working with Magda Sayeg of 'Knitta Please' to bring knit alive in upcoming fashion and design collaborations. Watch this space.
