Kill Spencer

We were introduced to the label Kill Spencer from LA recently. What I like best about Kill Spencer is the brand's masculine appeal in spite of its military association. Recent trends have allowed for the wide-spread feminising of blazers, epaulets and brass buckles. Thank you Balmain but I think the boys want their toys back now. Kill Spencer bags and accessories can be purchased on their website. Definitely make it a point to check out the short film which is also found on the site.

A Single Man

Tom Ford's directorial debut, A Single Man. Before you sneer, Colin Firth won the Copa Volpi at the Venice Film Festival for his role in the film. People tend to misuse the words 'hauntingly beautiful', this film's trailer exceeds that promise and gives timely reminders that Tom Ford is very much at the helm. Hope you enjoy this and we will look forward to its release in Australia. Merry Christmas!

Diecast enjoyed the Ashton & Demi show on Twitter. We've put the images up in sequence for you. I'm pretty sure they've just set a trend here. Long live love.

Mo.ja.da Summer

Australia's Next Top Model's Lola Van Vorst in the Chamonix Spyder. Summer is electric blue.

Up the Gap in Sydney. From here to eternity.

Chad and Marco.

Seeing music video magic being born.

Diecast was involved with Mojada creating some summer magic for their new single "Find A Way". We know a summer music video is not complete without a sexy Spyder and were glad to help the boys and Lola get their hands on one. Shay Alexander provided the clothes for their sunset footage but we all know the sun never really sets on the Emerald City.

One-Dress Soirees in Sydney

Diecast Agency is proud to be working with famed NY designer Malcolm Harris to bring the One-Dress initiative to Sydney. Malcolm's Mal Sirrah label won many esteemed fans and the above video is a sneak preview of what's to come in Sydney in 2010. The project will be in support of 2 charities: Womankind Worldwide and KIVA.ORG

Temper Trap in Sydney

Shay Alexander and the Temper Trap were at the Diecast Studio a couple of days before the ARIA awards. The band was nominated for 4 awards and were chuffed to be back home for the event after spending a bit of time in the UK and Europe. We showed them some shoes and had a few beers, as Aussies do. Look out for them in their future gigs kicking it with Shay's designs.

Andre J

Was introduced to Andre J at a party in the Meat Packing District of NYC a few nights back. Very memorable in many ways. Andre J, you are truly beautiful. Here is our tribute to you - reliving the infamous French Vogue Cover of 07.

Sneak Preview Shay Alexander

Images from Shay Alexander's A/W 10 collection. Was pleasantly surprised by the immediate reactions from just showing iPhone size images in LA and NY. Guess having a point of difference is a valuable quality that can never be overstated. With super photog Robin Sellick shooting new images, we hope the label reaches a new mark internationally. Oak NYC, hope you are watching this too.

The Great Dust Storm 09

Photos of the great dust storm over NSW. Taken by Diecast's Styling Director Shay Alexander.

Streetcar Named Desire

Our head of communications, Sandra with Joel Edgerton in Paddington for a fitting. It was the hottest day of Spring and Joel was hard at work the previous night as Stanley Kowalski. Nonetheless, he was gracious enough to meet us early in the morning so that we could fit him with some ThreeOverOne apparel. Thanks Joel.

Poignant, bless...

Here is a photo styled by friend and designer of label "None the Richer". Diecast Agency neither condones nor condemns the message, we simply understand.
